A statue is per definition a public piece of art. As soon as it's placed, it mostly stands the test of time and becomes part of the public life. But we do pass these, as they are just another part of a street.
Studio Statue is a series in which I photograph statues in a never-before-seen way. I drag out studio lighting, high resolution cameras and bring out the statue as if it is set in a studio.
