Hi! I’m Kris, and I'm a Photographer.
This means I see light, think in solutions and tell stories.

Who am I?
I’ve been capturing memories for as long as I can imagine. Taking photos on Kodak film on my mom’s Minolta camera, or video on my grandfather’s Sony cameras.
After my studies as a graphic designer I picked up the camera and refined my craft while I worked as a freelance designer and journalist. Since 2011 I’ve made the jump as a freelance photographer. First as a journalism photographer, but then making the jump to the commercial side.
Photography can be a very lonely profession, that’s why I try to bring in as many collaborators as needed on a project. It’s important to have a good network, so I work with some make-up artists, assistants, grip, retouchers and more. This way we never lose touch with the human side of creating.
Though I never stopped learning and upgrading my skills, without forgetting my roots. I don’t just think as a photographer, but also as a journalist, filmmaker and a designer. Does my photo tell a story? Will it fit in an existing design and have enough spacing for all deliverables? All questions I ask myself before hitting that big orange shutter button.
I’m always curious to see what’s next, bringing my two decades of experience creating creative content in the entertainment, leisure and corporate sectors.
